Another fine white sand beach to walk on bare foot.

There was no toilet in sight. I asked a roommate if there was one. The young Swiss girl pointed toward a bush with a smile.

Indian Head is located at the north end of the island.

We tried to look everywhere for any sign of whales with no luck on this trip.

I enjoyed watching cute little swallows flying around the top of Indian Head.

While our guide was preparing sandwich for picnic lunch, we went for a walk around the lake surrounded by rainforest.

We encountered two snakes on the walking track. Turtles were swimming in the lake.

Mercilessly and caressingly waves kept crashing over the ruined ship.

It was on its way to Japan, according to our guide, when a cyclone hit it near the island, as far as I remember.

This time, with my back to the sun and the bridge (see the previous post), I was looking toward the sea.

It was on a weekend. There were many 4WDs coming and going all over the sandy island with families and tourists in them, some with fishing gear.
